The Brilliance A3 SUV was scheduled to debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in May but did not appear, reportedly because of pressure from BMW. The Germans thought it looked too much like their own X1 SUV. Brilliance and BMW have a joint venture in China which makes the 3 and 5-series for the Chinese market. Brilliance however seems not to have given up on the A3, a new spy shot shows it testing again. The shape of the car doesn’t appear to have changed a bit. What BMW thinks of this is unclear, they likely don’t even know about it. Well.., here it is.
