Kia sells a very new Sportage in the rest of the world but not yet in China. The old Sportage gets a face lift first before Kia brings in the new car to be sold next to the old one. All car makers do that in China, when it still sells they just can’t trow it away. The old Sportage gets a new front that brings it in line with the newer Kia’s.

The Sportage is made in China by the Dongfeng-Yuada-Kia joint venture, the new Sportage will be made there as well. Engines of the old car: well, only one, the 2.0. The 2.7 is cancelled to make room for the new Sportage. Price starts at 183.800 and ends at 196.800. The facelifted old Sportage will debut at the Shanghai Auto Show.
