Youngman is a Chinese company that assembles Malaysian-made Protons for the Chinese market. Proton is also the owner of British sportcarmaker Lotus. Youngman uses this connection and sticks big ‘Lotus’-badges on its assembled Protons. The Chinese name is Lianhua, meaning ‘Lotus flower’, this is the same Chinese name as used by the sportscarcompany. Chinese consumers so migth get a little confused. The small suv on pics is a new car, based on the Proton Exora. It will hit the Chinese market this year.
