The new MG5 will debut next year and is based on the Roewe 350. The 350 is a sedan, the MG5 will be a hatchback to comply with the oh so sporty image of MG. Engines will be all a same; 1.5 and 1.8, maybe the 1.8Turbo. The MG5 will compete with cars as the VW Golf, Ford Focus and Buick Excelle. A MG5 ‘concept’ is expected at the Guangzhou Auto Show in December.
