The new MG3 will hit the market in October, one completely uncamouflaged car was found unguarded in a park near the factory. The photographer however, only managed to click two shots from the front.
Size: 3999x1728x1517, wheelbase is 2520. Engine is the same 1.5 litre unit as used in the Roewe 350, in the MG3 is comes with 80kw@6000rpm and 135nm@4500rpm. Top speed is 182km/h. Transmission: 5-speed manual or 4-speed auto.
The Roewe 150 was spotted testing together with the MG3. Spy shots of the MG3 have been popping up for some time but the 150 on these pictures is a first. It will get a different front and back, slightly different dash and that’s about it. Biggest difference is a ‘cultural’, marketing men make the MG ‘cool’ and ‘sporty’ while the Roewe is ‘sophisticated’ and ‘luxurious’. People have been buying the concept for ages so it’ll likely work again.
